Great Witchingham Cricket Club was established in 1924. At this time the club only played friendly matches on Saturdays and some Sunday cup competitions winning The Norfolk Junior Cup in 1932.
In the late 1970's the club started to develop the current ground of Walcis Park. In 1979 we made it our new home and entered the King's Norfolk League Division 5. We quickly progressed through the divisions gaining first division status in 1983 where we stayed for 12 season winning it no fewer than five times.
When winning for the fifth time in 1995 we were finally accepted into the Norwich Union Norfolk Alliance and progression through the divisons in this league has been gained culminating in winning the Alliance Premier Division in both 2004 and 2006.
Year 2007 saw the club enjoy it's first season in the East Anglian Premier League finishing in a highly creditable 5th position.
